Day 22 - Speak to the Dead (Foxing)

Day 22 – Speak to the Dead, from Draw Down the Moon by Foxing.

This marks the final piece in my journey illustrating the album. It’s been a challenging but rewarding process, pushing me creatively in ways I didn’t expect. This one was tough to visualize, but the lyric "Our essence dissipates all the same" stuck with me. I wanted to capture that moment between life and death—whether someone is crossing over or reaching out to the other side. Feels like a fitting sendoff.

I really enjoyed this project and pushing a different art style then I am used to. I would like to revisit this piece one day and maybe animate the dissipation of the subject.
