Day 6: You Stole

Day 6 of my Daisy by Brand New illustration journey is inspired by the song “You Stole” and the lyric:
“So if I’m a liar and you’re a thief, at least we both know where the other one sleeps. So let’s end this tonight.”

This piece features a fox and a crow—a nod to the fox’s reputation as a liar and the crow’s as a thief. I thought this pairing was a perfect way to bring the lyric to life, showing two characters who are flawed but fully aware of each other.

The retro tattoo-inspired style and textured risograph look felt right for this one, keeping it raw and bold, much like the song itself.
