Day 17: Where the Lightning Strikes Twice

“So meet me in the tall grass.....
I want to go where the lightning strikes twice...”

I had a hard time coming up with ideas for this song, it’s probably my least favorite on the album. I tried to focus on the lyrics, meet me in the tall grass, and where the lightning strikes twice. I wanted to create a look of shock or fear in the individual’s faces while keeping minimal detail.

This one felt deeply atmospheric to create— I leaned into the bold, grainy textures and stark contrast to capture that feeling of standing in the storm.
